PLEASE NOTE THAT THE WOODLAND WALKS AROUND THE HIGHCLERE ESTATE ARE OPEN SEVEN DAYS PER WEEK UNTIL THE END OF AUGUST 2009.

The Castle, Grounds, Gardens and Egyptology Exhibition, are open in 2009 on the following days only:

SUMMER OPENING 2009:

In 2009, Highclere Castle, Grounds, Gardens and Egyptian Exhibition are OPEN SUNDAY to THURSDAY (inclusive) each week from WEDNESDAY, 1st July to THURSDAY, 3rd September. CLOSED FRIDAYS and SATURDAYS. The Castle and Gardens OPEN at 11:00am. Last admission is 3:30pm. The Castle closes at 4:30pm.

The Egyptian Exhibition is open when the Castle is open. For ticket information for the Egyptian Exhibition, please see the Prices webpage, OR CLICK THE 'Open Times PDF' button above. The Grounds, Gardens, Tearooms and Gift Shop are all open on days when the Castle is open. The self service Tearooms open from 11:00am to 5:00pm for morning coffee, light lunches and afternoon teas all freshly made in the Castle kitchens. The Castle Gift Shop opens from 12:00noon to 5:00pm and offers an interesting selection of gifts and souvenirs.

Highclere Castle is available throughout the year for Weddings and Corporate Events

Guide Dogs excepted, dogs are not permitted in the Gardens, lawns or Castle, but dogs ON A LEAD are allowed in the Park. SMOKING is not permitted in the Castle.
