A superb Wedding Venue
The Castle is ideal to giving you the very best possible venue for your Wedding. 75 minutes from London, lots of easy complimentary
car parking, the most perfect backdrop for Wedding photographs, and professional resident full-time staff.
The Castle offers Wedding Day catering by its own in-house team, managed on the day by the Castle's own Executive Chef. The Castle's full-time Banqueting Manager will also be in attendance for the entire day
to ensure that the Wedding Breakfast and Evening Buffet will proceed as smoothly as possible, and to the highest standards. We can seat up to 140 for dinner
in the Library. We can arrange for marquees to be installed for your day, either attached to the Castle or stand-alone on either the East Lawn or the South Lawn.
The Castle's State Rooms are perfect for your Wedding. They offer a good 'people flow' from the 1870 Entrance Hall, through to the Saloon with 50 feet high vaulted ceiling,
where the Wedding Ceremony takes place with room for 200 guests (100 seated), to the sumptuous Library where Wedding Breakfast is served. At no time
will your guests be crowded, rushed or lost! Ground floor toilets, wheelchair facilities, and easy access to the South Lawns for those unforgettable photographs make
this a special venue for your special day.
Children's Crèche
The Castle has facilities for a children's crèche for those guests too young to participate in all the day's events. We also can provide dining facilities
for our younger guests from children's highchairs to children's menus.
Complimentary overnight car parking
Easy access from the M4 (junction 13) or the M3 (junction 8) to the Castle just off the A34 is combined with complimentary, secure overnight car parking
to allow guests who are staying locally, at one of many good hotels in the area, to enjoy their day to the full without driving considerations.
Guest Capacities to meet your requirements
The Castle's State Rooms can accommodate up to 200 guests for Evening Buffet; up to 140 guests for seated dining and up to 650 for a marquee event.
With you on the Day...
Our wedding organiser is in attendance on the actual wedding day at the Castle. From first thing in the morning, until all guests have departed usually around midnight!
We feel that it is important for the person you have dealt with throughout all of the arrangements prior to the day, should be with you on the day to see the wedding reception take
place as smoothly and as carefree as possible.
Exclusive Use Venue Fee
Highclere Castle will arrange a personalised contract for your Wedding to suit your exact requirements. Larger exclusive use events held on
Saturdays are available from £10,000 - £15,000 + Vat depending on the season. Smaller occasions can be catered for through our Sunday/Friday Contracts
from £165 - £195 per person including vat. Special no-obligation quotations can be prepared for marquee weddings; just ask our Wedding Organiser for details.
